Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

I’ve gone To AK tires a few times now and I’ve always gotten great service. Conrad and his guys work very hard to do a great job. They do get busy at times but for honest, good service it’s worth the wait.

Great customer service. Better prices. I bought 10 tires at once 6 for my rv 4 on my trailer. He made room for me and got the job done efficiently and in good time. Cost lest for all 10 then the other estimate I had for just the RV tires. Also honest, I asked him to change my brake pads and he showed me that they were fine when he could have made an easy extra couple hundred bucks off me. Highly recommend. I took the the drive to Tennessee and back on the tires and brakes before posting this review. Flawless work thank you!

AK Tire and Rim is terrific! I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have been going here for several years and every time I’ve been very happy with the service and the fair pricing. More than that, they are a family owned business and Conrad, Chris, and their staff treat their customers with respect and kindness. They will stand outside in 100° weather to patiently explain something to a customer no matter how long it takes . They are also honest to a T and you can count on excellent workmanship. I would not take my car anywhere else.

I had an RV tire that had sunk into the ground and separated from the rim, making it a much more involved job than a simple tire change. Conrad, the owner, recommended the right professional to safely level the RV and replace the tire, and he even came out personally to assist on-site. The team arrived quickly, handled the situation safely and efficiently, and completed the job in no time. The pricing was more than fair for the work involved. I was very impressed and will absolutely use them again for my other vehicles.
